[News] - How can I block Q2 and Q4 XBee robot controllers?
Hello everyone! Those controllers are wireless ones and with pretty large working radius. How can I block their signals?
Hi Tom!
Q2 and Q4 XBee controllers are used for different robots like cars with cameras or hexapods. These controllers are incredibly functional. As for the working range that you have mentioned, it depends from the sensors used inside those controllers. Those sensors are made by Dexter Industries and there are two of them: NXTBee (or XBee) has 100 feet of working range indoors and 300 feet outdoors while NXTBee-PRO has 300 feet of operating area indoors and up to 1 mile outdoors. Both Q2 and Q4 use one of those sensors so they use WiFi frequency to control the robots. The working power of NXTBee is 1mW (+0dBm) and NXTBee-PRO has 63mW (+18dBm) of operating power. In order to block the work of any robot controlled by those wireless controllers you can use Q2 and Q4 XBee controllers jammer that has working power of 270mW (+70dBm) that will definitely do the job. |
